I have a very strange issue. Whenever I logout of my Gnome session I am taken to a console where I see an error message that keeps repeating (see image herehttp://goo.gl/U2R0y ): The key thing is says is: "atombios stuck executing CB9E". After about 30-45 seconds of watching the text, it goes back into GDM where I can log in normally.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat 64bitMy laptop is an Acer Aspire TimelineX 3820TGThe Video Card (which I suspect the issue is coming from) is an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650.
Does anyone have a clue as to what the issue could be? If so, I would appreciate any advice on how to get rid of it.
Unfortunately no one seems to be able to help me so my goal now is to either figure out what is causing the problem, or at the very least to make it go away somehow.
